My Story
Nicknamed "Betsy" by my family, I come from a family of bakers. Some of my earliest memories are standing on a chair beside my mom in the kitchen, watching her bake. She had a deep love for bread and even took a culinary class focused on baking it.
Some mornings, I'd bring her fresh baked treats to school, and my friends would always be excited to see what she had made and what I had to share. That's where my love of baking began.
My sourdough journey started out of curiosity. One day, I made a starter just to see if I could keep it alive, and it quickly became something I couldn't stop doing. It brought me back to the kitchen, where I rediscovered what I've always loved, which is creating something from scratch and sharing it with others.
Today, every loaf I bake is rooted in those early memories, my family's love of baking, and the simple joy of bringing people together through fresh, homemade bread.
